Gibernau signs two-year deal

Sete Gibernau has signed a deal for the next two seasons with his current Honda Telefonica Movistar squad.

The Spaniard is currently second in the world championship in his first year on the Honda RC211V, with four races left to run. Gibernau has already won four races this year in his attempt to challenge current champion Valentino Rossi for the MotoGP crown

” I was keen to confirm my future in order to quash any rumours and leave myself free to concentrate on the remaining races this year, ” said Gibernau.
