Checa on the mend

Carlos Checa is recovering from a neck injury he suffered at the opening round of the MotoGP season in Jerez, and aggravated again at the second round in Qatar.

The Spanish Yamaha Tech3 rider is being treated to improve a damaged nerve before the Grand Prix of Turkey on April 30, 2006. He is training at his usual pace, although adapting the exercises to work around his injury.
