Great deal for Davies

As reported in Motor Cycle News on January 18, 2006, Chaz Davies is set to ride a semi-factory Aprilia in 2006.

The 18-year-old is about to sign for the Campetella Racing squad, who will be able to provide a vastly improved bike to the one he used to make his name as a top privateer. One previous Campetella rider is Randy de Puniet, who is now part of the Kawasaki MotoGP squad.

Davies should make his debut next month, alongside Japanese team-mate Taro Sekiguchi.
