More surgery for Sete

Ducati has announced that Loris Capirossi has been given the all clear but Sete Gibernau is still in need of surgery.

Loris Capirossi stayed overnight in hospital for observation after Sunday’s massive MotoGP accident but he has now been cleared to take part in this week’s race in Assen.

Sete Gibernau will be out of action for a while with a broken collarbone. The Spaniard already has a plate in place on the bone, which will be removed and replaced with a new bigger plate in an operation tomorrow, June 20.

Only after the operation is completed will doctors be able to assess his future in racing.
