Kawasaki and Eckl split

1 of 1

Kawasaki has taken its entire MotoGP racing operation in-house after splitting with long-time team manager Harald Eckl.

Eckl has run Kawasaki’s MotoGP programme, and before that the firm’s WSB effort, from his workshops in Germany since the late 90s.

The firm has yet to establish its own racing base, but it too is likely to be based in Europe.

The change will have no effect on the riders signed for 2007, Frenchmen Oliver Jacque and Randy De Puniet. Quality bikes for sale: Click here.
