Misano MotoGP: Revised Misano schedule unveiled

1 of 11

After today’s deluge at the Misano circuit which saw afternoon practice abandoned, MotoGP riders will get a two-hour practice session tomorrow morning.

Today’s action was abandoned shortly after lunch after torrential rain hit the Misano circuit, with several sections of the circuit underwater.

The paddock has already started the clean-up operation with most garages completely flooded.

To acclimatise to the Misano circuit, which is hosting a MotoGP race for the first time since 1993, a further two MotoGP sessions were scheduled for this afternoon after Marco Melandri had topped the timesheets this morning.

Instead, MotoGP will now run between 9am and 11am local time tomorrow morning.

Qualifying for MotoGP will take place at the normal time of 1.50pm.

Tomorrow’s schedule:

125 Free Practice 8-8.45am Qualifying 1.05pm
MotoGP Free Practice 9-11am Qualifying 1.50pm
250 Free Practice 11.15-12.15pm Qualifying 3.05pm
