Gabor Talmacsi has backed up his sterling performance in yesterday’s 125cc qualifying session by topping the time sheets once again in free practice this morning.

Hungarian rider Talmacsi, who races for the Bancaja Aspar Team, has taken pole in the last two 125 GP races and looks set to keep his position at the front of the grid for the Misano GP.

Italian rider Simone Corsi, who finished 10th quickest in yesterday’s first qualifying practice session, placed second today 4 tenths of a second behind Talmacsi. Jack & Jones WRB rider Nicolas Terol came third.

Andrea Iannone, 13th on the timesheets yesterday, finished 4th this morning with a time of 1’44.289.

British favourite Bradley Smith placed 4th in the first qualifying session but only came in 12th quickest during practice today on his Polaris World Aprilia.

Fellow Brits Scott Redding and Danny Webb finished down in 19th and 20th respectively, with less than a tenth of a second seperating the two riders.
