What does Casey Stoner have to do?

James Toseland gave his best, but luck was not on his side this weekend.

So the best man won as they say. For me it was a great weekend, until over the radio I heard Casey Stoner explaining that whilst going past a few spectators on the slowing down lap he had the thumbs down and someone even gave him the w****r sign.

This isn’t the first time he’s had to put up with this sort of abuse. He had to face a load of jeering and booing when he won the British MotoGP round last year. I never thought that motorcycle racing would have to put up with this sort of foul behaviour.

Most of us are there for the love of the sport and to watch a good motorcycle race.
