Andrea Dovizioso eager to see Casey Stoner at Honda

Andrea Dovizioso says he’s fascinated to see how new Honda recruit Casey Stoner will gel with a factory RC212V machine in 2011.

The Italian said it would be intriguing to see how the Aussie morphs his style from the Desmosedici to RC212V with Stoner agreeing a switch to HRC.

Last year’s British MotoGP winner Dovizioso said: “Casey can go fast on any bike because his talent is so high, but how much on a Honda? No one knows. It will be so interesting to see Casey’s corner entry on the Honda because his good point is corner entry. But I don’t think that is possible on the Honda. At the point just a little bit later than the entry we have a problem with the movement on the front and the turning of the bike.

The style of Casey is strange. He is fast in the middle of the corner and so fast in the entry. But I think the mix of his style and Ducati is strong in that area. So it will be interesting to see Casey on a normal bike.”
