Factory Suzuki rider Loris Capirossi has spoken of his excitement at the prospect of witnessing the famous Isle of Man TT races for the first time next month.

The veteran Italian will make his first visit to the Isle of Man as part of Suzuki’s celebration of 50 years in racing and 25 years of the iconic GSX-R brand.

Capirossi, who created history last month by becoming the first rider in history to compete in 300 world championship races, will ride the legendary Mountain course as part of s Suzuki parade lap on June 11.

The triple world champion told MCN: “I am really excited because I’ve never been to the Isle of Man before and watch that race.

“I’ve watched it many times on DVD but I think it will be amazing to watch it live. I think any rider that does that race is incredibly brave but also a little crazy.

“That track is amazing and I am really looking forward to seeing it. I’m going to ride a road bike to experience it myself, but not with the MotoGP bike. It will be an amazing experience.”
