The full line-up for the 2011 MotoGP world championship will be finalised in Valencia this weekend with a flurry of announcements expected.

A resolution to the political saga between HRC and Repsol appears to have been resolved and the Japanese factory is widely expected to confirm it will field three-rider factory team including Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso.

Randy de Puniet’s move to the Pramac Ducati squad will be announced in Spain, as will a switch to the Gresini Honda squad for former 250GP world champion Hiroshi Aoyama.

The Japanese rider is on the market following the collapse of his Interwetten Honda squad after just one season in MotoGP.

Testing for the 2011 season begins in Valencia a week today (Tuesday, November 9).
