Indy MotoGP: Terol dominates qualifying to take pole

125GP championship leader Nicolas Terol has continued his dominance of the class after taking pole position at Indianapolis onboard his Aspar Aprilia.

Sandro Cortese starts from second on the grid, 0.720 seconds slower than Terol, with Johan Zarco and Maverik Vinales completing the front row.

Brit Danny Kent will start tomorrow’s race at the head of the second row after setting the fifth fastest time. Kent was only knocked off the front row in the final minutes by Cortese.

Taylor Mackenzie qualified in 20th place, ahead of Danny webb in 21st. Harry Stafford will start from 30th on the grid.
