Qatar MotoGP: Bradl romps to Moto2 victory

German Stefan Bradl took his second ever victory in Qatar today after dominating from the very first corner.

Andrea Iannone finished second after fighting his way through the field due to a poor start. Swiss rider Thomas Luthi took the final step of the podium in third.

125GP champion Marc Marquez was amongst the front runners early on in the race, but highsided his Repsol Moto2 bike and was unable to remount.

Scott Redding had a disappointing first race of 2011 after crashing on the first lap, the Brit managed to remount and finished 31st on the Suter machine.

Fellow Brit Bradley Smith had a much better race on the Tech 3 bike, finishing ninth in his first ever Moto2 race.
