Sepang MotoGP: Nicolas Terol takes pole position

125GP championship leader Nicolas Terol will start tomorrow’s race at the Sepang circuit, Malaysia from pole position after edging out team-mate Hector Faubel in the final moments of the session.

Terol beat Faubel by just 0.015secs with a lap of 2’13.579. Intact Racing Team rider Sandro Cortese will start from third on the grid.

AirAsia Ajo rider Efren Vasquez heads the seond row, ahead of Luis Salom and Jonas Folger.

Title hopeful Johann Zarco managed to qualify 15th after an early crash and mechanical problems.

Danny Kent starts from tenth on the grid as the highest Brit, with Harry Stafford, and Taylor Mackenzie qualified 19th and 22nd respectively.
