Video: Yamaha kicks off Misano 1000cc test

1 of 1

Jorge Lorenzo has had little time for his brilliant Misano MotoGP victory to sink in, with the Spaniard back out on track this morning to start his second test on Yamaha’s factory 1000cc prototype machine.

Lorenzo and factory Yamaha team-mate Ben Spies are both lapping on the YZR-M1 800cc replacement in much cooler and cloudier conditions than yesterday’s race.

Despite rain falling on the nearby Adriatic coast, the rain hasn’t yet hit the Misano track, but Lorenzo and Spies have completed several laps already since the track was opened shortly before 10am.

The test is private but Yamaha has just posted a short video of the new bike on its official twitter feed @YamahaMotoGP Click this link to check out the short clip: http://yfrog.com/jweyzz
