Pole position for Marquez at Indy

Marc Marquez followed up a dominant display of his race pace potential in FP4 by taking pole position for tomorrow’s Indianapolis Grand Prix. Marquez was able to take pole from Dani Pedrosa with Jorge Lorenzo third fastest.

Cal Crutchlow had a superb showing to take fourth on the grid with Bradley Smith joining him on the second row. Danilo Petrucci was the top Ducati in fifth position.

Valentino Rossi has made it a habit of starting on the third row and will do so again tomorrow with the championship leader sandwiched by Andrea Iannone and Maverick Vinales.
