Lap record for Kent in final practice

1 of 1

Danny Kent has led every session by six tenths of a second this weekend and with a new lap record to boot the championship leader is in ominous form for his rivals. With Fabio Quartararo and Efren Vazquez his nearest challengers Kent looks to have a significant edge on his chief title rivals this weekend. Enea Bastianini was tenth fastest but almost 1.5s off the pace.

After setting the ninth fastest time yesterday John McPhee was able to improve on that with an impressive fifth fastest time. The Scot has had a difficult year but after his strong second half to 2014 he is showing signs that he is making steps forward with the Racing Team Germany bike. The team has endured a difficult year where despite winning the season opener Alexis Masbou has had a similar campaign to McPhee.
