Bastianini quickest ahead of Moto3 qualifying

This morning’s Moto3 session saw Enea Bastianini set the pace with a slender advantage to Migeul Oliveira and Niccolo Antonelli. The leading trio were comfortably faster than the rest of the field with Fabio Quartararo fourth fastest but almost four tenths off the pace.

Danny Kent was sixth fastest and six tenths slower but given his pace yesterday there’s little reason to suspect that he’ll be struggling come qualifying. Following a test last week in Spain John McPhee has made progress with his Racing Team Germany Honda and while he was 23rd it will be interesting to see if he can make a step forward in qualifying this afternoon.
