Kent leads way in warmup

After qualifying off the front row Danny Kent said that he was confident in his race pace and this morning’s warmup was a clear indication that he will be the man to beat this afternoon. Kent was three tenths of a second faster than Jorge Navarro who crashed late in the session.

The fight for the win looks likely to be between Kent and Enea Bastianini but the Italian was only 12th fastest in the final session before this morning Moto3 race. Romano Fenati has been quick all weekend with the Italian having a stronger showing than normal in qualifying eighth fastest. Fenati was fifth in the warmup and looks confident of fighting for a podium.

John McPhee was 16th fastest and less than half a tenth slower than his teammate, Alexis Masbou.
