Pedrosa sets a hot pace ahead of qualifying

Final practice in MotoGP is a chance for riders to spend their time working on race simulation work and gaves an indication of what to expect during the race. If that’s the case at Sepang this weekend Dani Pedrosa has just shot a clear warning across the MotoGP grid.

The Spaniard was three tenths fastest than his teammate, Marc Marquez, with Andrea Iannone and Jorge Lorenzo next fastest. Valentino Rosi was fifth fastest but almost seven tenths off the pace.

Scott Redding was ninth, Bradley Smith was tenth and Cal Cruthclow was 12th.
