Suzi Perry to join BT Sport for 2016?

Former BBC MotoGP presenter Suzi Perry looks set to make a welcome return to screens in 2016, with MCN’s sources saying that she will be confirmed as part of the broadcaster’s revamped team for the coming season.

A huge fan favourite in the past, Perry has been absent from the paddock for a number of years, being replaced by Jenny Gow at the BBC in 2011 after thirteen years on the job.

She has recently returned to motorsport for them, however, taking over from Jake Humphrey as the host of their F1 coverage; a role that has disappeared with Channel 4’s takeover of the rights.

Still to be officially confirmed by BT Sport, it’s believed by MCN’s sources that she will replace both Abi Griffiths and former European and Commonwealth champion sprinter Iwan Thomas, who has been part of their line-up since they took over from BBC.

And while it’s yet to be officially confirmed by BT Sport that Perry will be joining the team, her recent actions on Twitter may be a giveaway, after she followed both the BT Sport MotoGP account and the championship’s British racers yesterday.
