MotoGP: Silverstone schedule change as Moto2 goes last

1 of 1

This weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone will see a flip to the usual weekend schedule, with Sunday’s Moto2 race coming after the main event instead of between it and Moto3 as is usual.

The schedule change comes as MotoGP clashes with the German F1 race, which is due to start at 1410 British time. But, with the time zone change from the UK and the rest of the Europe, this has meant a scheduling change to the Silverstone running order.

It could add an interesting element to Sunday’s race too though, with MotoGP riders often quick to complain about the changes to track surface made by the addition of a Moto2 race worth of Dunlop rubber.
