The 2025 Ducati Lenovo team livery has been unveiled during the annual Campioni in Pista event in Madonna Di Campiglio, Italy.

Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez were in attendance and lifted the sheets off of the updated 2025 Ducati Desmosedici livery. As expected, the bike remains largely red, but the lighter shade red graphics have been updated slightly compared to the 2024 design, with larger areas covered.

Lenovo remain as title sponsors, whilst Monster Energy once again takes over the belly pan and lower part of the fairings. The Monster Energy logo also appears on the front fairing, and at the top of the front suspension forks. Audi Sport branding can also be seen on the side of the bike.

Bagnaia returns to the number 63 having lost his MotoGP crown to Jorge Martin last season. His number is black with splashes of red, similar to that found on the bike itself. Meanwhile, Marquez’s iconic number 93 is bright red with a thick black border.

Despite winning 11 Grand Prix races and adding a further seven Sprint victories to his CV, Bagnaia was unable to win a third consecutive premier class title in 2024. Crashes hampered Bagnaia’s campaign, with the Italian suffering eight DNFs throughout the year.

This compared to just four DNFs for eventual champion Martin, who only won three Grand Prix races. It was the Spaniard’s super consistency which allowed him to wrestle the title away from the factory Ducati team.

“It will be the fifth season with the Ducati Lenovo Team, we have shown that we are a close-knit working group,” Bagnaia said. “I will return to the track with the number 63 after a 2024 that did not give me the greatest joy, the title I mean, but was very hard-fought and I have achieved several records.

“I have learned a lot, I tried to make the most of each situation and the sensations on the bike, in Barcelona in the first testing session after the GP, were immediately positive. I have a new teammate, a strong and competitive rider and, together, we can take the development of the bike to an even higher level. It will be demanding, I will try not to leave anything to chance and to face the season with the same spirit as always.”

Bagnaia’s biggest challenge will likely come from inside the same garage this season following the arrival of Marquez. The six-time premier class champion was chosen over Martin for the second seat, and will get his hands on the GP25.

Marquez joined Gresini Racing Ducati last season after his sensational departure from HRC, and returned to winning ways after 1043 days when he won at Aragon. Despite being on the year-old GP23, which was nowhere near as competitive as the GP24, Marquez was able to push Martin and Bagnaia hard most weekends.

By the end of the season Marquez had accumulated three Grand Prix victories, one Sprint victory and 10 Grand Prix podiums. Most importantly, Marquez huge smile had also returned, and many are tipping him for the title now that he’s a full factory Ducati rider.

“I am really happy to be here wearing the official colours of the Ducati Lenovo Team,” Marquez said. “It is exciting to be here today in Madonna di Campiglio, opening a new MotoGP season that marks the start of what I consider to be the most important challenge of my career.

“During this winter I have been able to disconnect a little, but I also had time for training hard and now I’m feeling ready for facing a new year that will be challenging and exciting. I am really looking forward to continuing with the work that we started at the Montmeló testing session last November and getting back on the bike in Sepang and then in Buriram.”

“My first short-term goal is to enjoy riding because I know that if I manage to do that everything else will follow. As I have said many times, when you are in an official team, the goal cannot be other than to be competitive in every race, fighting for podiums and victories and to try to be protagonist in the World Championship.”

Bagnaia and Marquez will return to the circuit at the three-day Sepang test on February 5-7. This is followed by the Thailand test on February 12-13, before returning to the Chang International Circuit for the season opener on February 28 – March 2.
