The fourth and final event in the TTXGP UK Championship 2010 will be held at Brands Hatch, 2-3 October.

The 2010 TTXGP UK Championship is sanctioned by the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) and supported by the British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF).

The three other events are at Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire (3-4 July), Snetterton, Norfolk (17-18 July) and Castle Combe, Wiltshire (11 September).

The new British series follows this year’s  ground-breaking Isle of Man TTXGP, the world’s first zero carbon, clean emission motorcycle race on the TT Mountain course.

Mike Dommett, CEO British Motorcycle Racing Club, whose club is hosting the race said, “We are very happy to support the ACU in its initiative with electric motorcycling and TTXGP.

“We are aware that TTXGP had a successful launch at the Isle of Man 2009 and we feel it will be of great interest to the racing fraternity at club level to see the bikes in action.”

The 2010 TTXGP North America Championship 2010 has already confirmed races at Infineon, California, May 14-16, Virginia International Raceway 13-15 August and Mosport International, Toronto 8-11 July.

The highest placed teams from the TTXGP series 2010 will compete in a grand final in October in Albacete, Spain in conjunction with the European Motorcycle Union (UEM).

TTXGP founder, Azhar Hussain, said, “We are delighted to get these UK events off the ground and it is thanks to all those involved who have worked hard to make this happen.

“Brands Hatch is the perfect venue for our fourth and final event in the UK and we look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones there.

“It is outstanding to partner with organisations like the ACU and BMF who not only have the willingness to move with us but also the practical ability to put TTXGP UK in motion.

“We are hugely grateful to the UEM for their support in providing a venue which will be a fitting stage on which to play out the final of the TTXGP 2010 series.”
