TT Monster party on the prom

One of the great sights of the Isle of Man TT Races is a packed Douglas promenade with spectacular stunt shows, flashing lights, gravity defying rides, colour, music, noise, bikes, food stalls and beer tents.

This year the TT Festival has received a major boost from Monster Energy who will be bringing their ‘mayhem’ entertainment experience to the Isle of Man TT Races festival.

Kerrang DJ Christian Stevenson will be hosting the evening from the Monster Watchtower high above the action.

The entertainment kicks off with TT footage on the massive Monster screens followed by the insane French stunt show team – Infernal Varanne – who have appeared on the Top Gear Live tour including the unbelievable Globe of Steel and the breathtaking Mini Freestyle Moto Cross.

The nightly entertainment will also feature live interviews with TT heroes and fantastic giveaways. The Monster Girls will be turning heads again this year, supporting the race and promenade action where they’ll be signing their posters.

The promenade entertainment will reach a climax with the appearance of two of the World’s leading freestyle stars, Andre Villa and Edgar Torronteras on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th June, which will see the week long festival entertainment conclude on a high with a Vulcan Display and the closing fireworks.

Norwegian former Motocross star Villa has devoted himself to freestyle and his inimitable style has already brought him notable success in the X-fighters Series, including victory in Mexico.

The 29 year old Torronteras is known as one of the true pioneers of the sport of FMX and was one of the early stars with his ‘superman seat grabs’. He has now adapted his repertoire to include insane flip variations.

Belgian Bjorn Van Den Broeck – aka Broecky- founded the FMX4EVER team that is now Europe’s biggest and will be also performing throughout the week. He will be appearing with Czech rider Martin Koren who is renown for his trademark backflips.
