Pictures from the scene of the Senior TT crash which stopped the race and left eleven spectators injured, one seriously, show the destroyed bike of British Superstock rider Jonathan Howarth.
The Barnsley rider crashed at the top of Bray Hill following a tank slapper, his ZX-10R sliding into a group of spectators further down the hill. The bike's front wheel broke free, narrowly missing the heads of spectators on the other side of the road before smashing through the front window of a house. 29-year-old Howarth, making his TT debut for team Sheff Pack Kawasaki, escaped uninjured.
Eleven spectators have been taken to hospital, none thought to have life-threatening injuries.
