The Ulster Grand Prix organisers have confirmed that a rider has lost his life following a serious incident during today’s second supersport race, after a crash at Deer’s Leap.

The organisers confirmed the news but have not named the rider until his immediate family can be contacted. They have asked people to refrain from speculation during this incredibly sensitive time.

Motorcycle News join the organisers of the Ulster Grand Prix in wishing their deepest sympathies to the rider’s family and friends, team and fans.
