Ulster GP: Hickman beats Harrison to Superstock pole

Peter Hickman continued his domination of the 2017 Ulster Grand Prix by taking pole position for Saturday’s Superstock races as the final qualifying sessions got underway this morning

Hickman’s time of 3.21’338 (132.334mph) was enough to secure the top spot and for a while it looked like it’d be with a commanding gap to second place until Silicone Engineering Kawasaki’s Dean Harrison put in a 132.237mph lap in the closing stages to place second.

Dan Kneen was third quickest for Tyco BMW, albeit 2.4 seconds off Hickman’s pace, while Jamie Coward was fourth.
