Bostrom on provisional pole for Daytona

Eric Bostrom is on provisional pole for Saturday’s Daytona 200 after setting a track record qualifying lap of 1:46.84

Riding a Ducati 999 on Wednesday, March 3, he averaged 119.58mph on the lap.

Bostrom said, ” You’re really just out there playing a video game, trying to hit your marks and do everything better than the lap before. ”

2003 Daytona 200 champion Miguel Duhamel was second fastest, Jake Zemke and Aaron Yates complete the provisional front row.

Final qualifying for the Daytona 200 is held today (Thursday March 4)
