Corser dominates test

Troy Corser heads the timesheets following at a two-day World Superbike test at Valencia in Spain.

The Australian has been fastest from the first session on Saturday, March 12, and only failed to head the Sunday morning session before coming back with a time of 1:35.566 in the fourth and final stint.

His Alstare Corona team-mate, Yukio Kagayama finished the test second quickest, with 1:35.698. Close behind were Chris Vermeulen on the Ten Kate Honda and Regis Laconi on the Xerox Ducati. The top four were covered by just 0.315.

Chris Walker was ninth quickest over the two days, with James Toseland down in thirteenth place. Norrick Abe finished the weekend as the 18th quickest rider, but managed to complete the most laps of the circuit, with 157 laps in four sessions.
