Toseland misses out

Honda’s Chris Vermeulen and Ducati rider Lorenzo Lanzi took one win each at the final round of the WSB series at Magny-Cours.

Newly-crowned WSB champ Troy Corser (who started from the fourth row) finished fifth and fourth.

Former WSB champ James Toseland – who was planning to finish his weekend playing with his band at MCN’s 50th birthday bash at Bultins – scored a third place in race one.

But that wasn’t enough for him to overtake Noriyuki Haga for the third spot in the points table.
