Hodgson waits for Foggy

Neil Hodgson has spent another week without a ride for 2007 – and seems little closer to realising his dream just yet.

But despite several set backs he remains 100% committed to securing a ride in WSB next season and still has two potential options on the table.

Having turned down rides in MotoGP, AMA and BSB the former British and World Superbike champion is pinning his hopes on either Carl Fogarty’s FoggyPetronas squad or Klaffi Honda team boss Klaus Klaffenbock securing the budget to run in 2007.

Speaking exclusively to MCN, Hodgson said: “Nothing has changed really. Foggy is still waiting to secure the budget he needs and my other option is with Klaffi.

“My manager Roger Burnett is dealing with this for me but I’m still waiting to hear something definite from either of them.

“I set out my stall pretty early in the year to come back to WSB and that is still where my priority lies. I’ve got no options in America and I’m not chasing anything in BSB.

“I’ve got nothing against racing in Britain but I’ve already turned down an option to ride for Rizla Suzuki and I’m not speaking to any one else. I want to ride in WSB and win another World Championship.”
