Corser fastest in Warm Up

1 of 1

Troy Corser looks to have put his bad luck from yesterday behind him after clocking the fastest lap in this morning’s warm up for the European round of WSB at Donington Park.

The two Troy’s were again at the front, with pole-sitter Bayliss recording the second fastest time, under a tenth behind Corser’s.

James Toseland set the third quickest time, narrowly missing out ducking into the 1.31 bracket and finishing half a second off the two Australians.

Regis Laconi kept up his good form on the Kawasaki with a fourth fastest time, closely followed by Max Biaggi.

The lone Alstare Corona Suzuki for today’s races circulated behind Toseland for a few laps until JT waved him past coming into Goddards, looking as though he was going into the pits. Biaggi passed but then aimed for pit lane as well, so Toseland went on for another lap – but didn’t realise Biaggi then veered back onto the racing line to complete a few more laps behind the current championship leader.

The only crasher of the session was British wildcard Aaron Zanotti who walked away from a high speed crash at Schantz, losing the front and barrel-rolling into the gravel.
