Response from Donington Park over camping

A statement has been issued by Donington Park with regards to the story about not being able to camp in vans.

“The decision to allow only purpose vehicles into Donington Park campsites was made some time ago based on health and safety guidelines issued by the local authority.”

Anyone who pre-books a space on the camp sites receives an information leaflet outlining this. People who turn up on the day to camp in vans will be offered the chance to go away and buy a tent which they can use at the camp site.
