honda pair lead the way in supersport qualifying

Hannspree Ten Kate Honda teammates Sofuoglu and Charpentier set the pace in the second supersport qualifying session.

The pair led between them for the entire session with Charpentier finishing on top of the timesheets at the end of the hour on a 1:26.706 and claim pole position for tomorrow’s race.

Sofuoglu, who finished up in second, was quicker than his first qualifying session on a 1:27.111.

Third fastest was Australian Broc Parkes who went over four tenths of a second quicker than in the previous session.

British rider Craig Jones crashed out on his out lap but recovered to finish the session in 13th with a 1:28.376.
