World Superbike promoters FGSport have announced that it has re-branded to Infront Motor Sports following the sale of it’s majority share holding to Infront Sports and Media.
FG Sport headed by Maurizio and Paolo Flammini will continue to run the championship as they do currently, but will get to call upon the expertise of Infront who are one of the top sports productions companies in the World. Infront produce television for the World Cup, America’s Cup and Asia Games.
In total it’s 500 staff produce over 1400 sporting events each year through its 23 offices world wide.
Although Infront have no specific expertise in motorsport they intend to grow the World Superbike Championship through improved television coverage with more camera’s, longer lenses, onboard camera’s and additional on screen graphics.
As a leading sports promotion company they also have relationships with virtually all the TV producers globally making them ideally placed to increase exposure of the series.
With their global presence including offices with over 50 staff in China, Infront Motor Sports also aim to bring the World Superbike championship into different markets and have made their intention clear to have a race in China and Asia in the future.
