Max Biaggi's 2009 Aprilia race bike revealed

1 of 3

Italian Max Biaggi has signed to ride for Aprilia in 2009 and we have official pictures and details of the Aprilia V4 race bike he’ll be piloting next season.

The RSV4 will make its debut in the 2009 World Superbike Championship, ridden by Italian Max Biaggi. The bike features four cylinders, 999cc and 210bhp at the gearbox in the race-ready version.

A V-four engine with total electronic management and an exceptionally light and compact chassis help to explain why Aprilia is so confident about the bike’s future success in WSB.

Aprilia have ambitious plans for their 2 rider WSB race team- they plan to finish in the top 10 in year 1, be winning races in year 2 and win the championship by year 3.

Max Biaggi has signed to race for them, but the other rider has yet to be announced. Biaggi has yet to comment on his switch to Aprilia.

Check out next week’s issue of MCN for more details on Aprilia’s return to WSB, on sale Wednesday 24th September.
