The factory Yamaha team of James Toseland and Cal Crutchlow unveiled their 2010 spec bikes complete with revised Sterilgarda livery in Italy today.

Having won the 2009 WSB crown with American sensation Ben Spies, the factory backed team have outlined a host of changes to the bike in an effort to stay at the front of the class.

The team claim to have boosted top end power by 8bhp, reduced weight by 3kg, improved aerodynamics and introduced a larger reshaped fuel tank to improve overall weight distribution

Speaking at the launch Toseland said: “The first race is coming up in two weeks and testing has been really promising after riding a GP bike for two years.

“After the test in Phillip Island next week we should have the package to be able to be at the front from the first race.”

Team-mate Crutchlow added: ”I’m looking forward to the year ahead, it’s going to be a good challenge, but tough!

“Testing has gone well, hopefully we can turn that into good results from the first few races and build from there. I know we can do a good job.”
