WSB test: Rea fastest again on drying track

Jonathan Rea stayed a the top of the standings after the second timed session today with a lap time on 1’49.107 set in damp conditions. The Ten Kate Honda man finished ahead of friend and rival Leon Haslam with the two Bits having led every session of the test so far.

Third spot went to Troy Corser on his BMW with Brits Cal Crutchlow and Tom Sykes occupying the next two places.

In Supersport new Ten Kate Honda signing Michel Pirro impressed to take top spot ahead of Kawasaki mounted Joan Lascorz in second. Eugene Laverty was once again fast and consistent onboard his 2010 spec Parkalgar Honda with his team-mate Miguel Praia in fourth.

BE1 Triumph rider Chaz Davies was fifth fastest on the drying track.
