As previously reported in MCN, oil giant Castrol will become the title sponsor of the Ten Kate Honda World Superbike squad in 2011. The new look team will be unveiled at Castrol’s head quarters in Reading on Tuesday next week and MCN will be there to bring you images of the new bike livery.

Riders Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus are expected to use the new Castrol paint scheme in a two day test at Aragon later in the week before heading to Portimao in Portugal for the first official WSB test of the year on 26th to 28th January.

Ten Kate’s WSB effort has been sponsored by electronics company Hannspree since 2007 when they won the title with James Toseland, but came to an end in 2010.

Hannspree will remain sponsor of Ten Kate’s two man World Supersport team of former champion Fabien Foret and young Florian Marino.
