WSB Brno: Biaggi takes race two win

Max Biaggi (Aprilia Alitalia) fought a close battle throughout race two at Brno with fellow countryman Marco Melandri (Yamaha World Superbike Team) before regaining the lead on the penultimate lap to take victory and deny Melandri a second win at the Czech circuit.

Championship leader Carlos Checa (Althea Racing) rode consistently to secure his second podium finish, taking third place and finishing ahead of Michel Fabrizio (Team Suzuki Alstare) and Eugene Laverty who took fourth and fifth respectively.

Ayrton Badovini again proved the pace of the satellite BMW Motorrad Italia bike, finishing in sixth ahead of Leon Haslam (BMW Motorrad Motorsport) in seventh.

Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) finished in fifteenth, whilst Alex Lowes and Leon Camier both crashed out of race two.
