32 riders from 14 countries confirmed on World Supersport grid

The 2012 World Supersport championship looks set to be another closely fought year with a host of top riders and teams fighting for supremacy.

In terms of pedigree two time WSS champion Kenan Sofuoglu returns to WSS onboard the DeltaFin Lorenzini Kawasaki after a year in Moto2. Australian Broc Parkes returns to Ten Kate Honda with former world champion Fabien Foret riding the Intermoto Step Kawasaki.

British interest will be upheld by Sam Lowes onboard the PTR Honda. Lowes proved he has the pace to run at the front in 2011 and will be looking to build on his fine form in 2012. Former BSB rider Martuin Jessop will join Lowes in the proven PTR team.

A total of 14 different nationality of rider will compete in the series.
