WSS Assen: Cluzel again the fastest

With several of the top WSS riders falling in a halted and re-started WSS second practice session at Assen, Jules Cluzel (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) took a 0.132 second advantage in lap time over Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing). Cluzel’s best lap was a 1’38.633, just outside lap record pace.

Third quickest, although himself a faller, was Patrick Jacobsen (Kawasaki Intermoto Ponyexpres) who still outpaced the second MV of Lorenzo Zanetti.

British rider Kyle Smith (Pata Honda) also crashed out but took fifth wile Ratthapark Wilairot (Core” motorsport Thailand Honda) was sixth, and yet another crasher, at high speed on the fast left of turn 15.

One more practice session, and then qualifying, will take place on Saturday 18th.
