Krummenacher Takes First WSS Ride

Former Moto2 rider Randy Krummenacher has joined the championship winning Puccetti Racing Kawasaki team for 2016, and had his first test on the Ninja ZX-6R WSS machine at Jerez. Despite some issues with a WSS machine being a very different size to his Moto2 prototype, he was pleasantly surprised by his first experience.

“I feel very comfortable on the bike and I made some big steps immediately but there is a lot of work, and I have to get used more to the riding position, which is completely different than what I am used to in Moto2,” said the Swiss rider. “It is less radical and for me at the moment it is not so comfortable, as I am not used to it. But it is going well and I am really surprised about the tyre feedback, which is really good, so let’s keep on working.”

Krummenacher was working with former WSS racing legend and two-time world champion Andrew Pitt as his crew chief at Jerez.
