It was too heavy for the type of riding I wanted to do. It handled well and with the Stage 1 kit and Vance & Hines pipes, was fairly fast, but the weight of 650lbs was too much. I sold it and bought a 2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. Twice the horsepower, better handling, better brakes, 150 lbs...

I feel qualified to have an opinion on this bike. I've owned it for 16 years. The speedo is in km, I don't know why as the log book does not say it's an import. It had 10,000km on the clock when I bought it. It now has 107,000km (about 67,000 miles). It has been on numerous trips. It's been to...

Will Honda launch a CL1100 version? It would be the best Scrambler on the market.

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

The best feature is definitely the engine. Overall feature set is good. Suspension could be a little better, but that is true of all OEM suspensions. I wasn't the biggest fan of the portrait mode LCD, but once you get used it it, it isn't as hard to navigate as it first seems to be. The bike...

  • CAGIVA CANYON 500 (1996-2002)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Vast improvement on the earlier Rotax versions. 100mph, minimal vibration for a big single, Italian handling, slick gear change.

  • MOTO-GUZZI V7 RACER (2011-2016)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

'Racer'... a fine, Italian, misnomer. Don't think that you'll be competing with any modern 650/750cc bike. What you'll have is possibly the best, currently available, example of a genuine retro. Shake, rattle, roll and growl it does better than any of the opposition. Fifty + years of riding,...
