Man to appear in crown court charged with conspiracy over more than 20 Midlands motorbike thefts

West Midlands Police have charged a 30-year-old male with conspiracy to steal vehicles, after over 20 motorcycles were stolen in Wolverhampton, Dudley, and South Staffordshire earlier this year.

Clive Halford was arrested as part of an investigation into the theft of 27 vehicles – mainly two-wheelers – between May 14 and July 8, 2025. He was taken from an address in Pendeford by police during an operation on the week of July 28.

He appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on July 30 and has now been remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on August 27.
