Ace Café scrap Friday nights with early closures in a bid to clamp down on anti-social behaviour

London’s Ace Café has announced that it will now close on Friday nights for the foreseeable future in a bid to crack down on anti-social behaviour.

The famed biker and driver hangout cited a recent spate of “illegal and unacceptable behaviour on the road [outside]” as the reason behind the change, which will see the venue shut its doors from 6pm on Fridays until 8am on Saturday – four-and-a-half hours earlier than its usual closing time.

The café has also warned that wheelies, burnouts, or excessive revving will not be tolerated, adding that anyone caught engaging in “illegal or unacceptable” activity will be permanently barred.

The use of controlled substances, including cannabis, is strictly prohibited on site, and any vehicles attempting to enter without proper number plates will be turned away.

Round-the-clock CCTV with ANPR technology is in place to help enforce the rules. Ace Café have extended their thanks to law-abiding patrons for their understanding and continued support.
