Langen Motorcycles, creators of the Two Stroke and LightSpeed, are offering a helping hand to owners of CCM Spitfire and GP450 models, after the Bolton-based brand entered administration in early June.

“Several of our team members have a professional history with CCM and are fortunate enough to call many of the current and previous staff friends,” Langen founder Christofer Ratcliffe said in a post online.

“We also have a deep engineering knowledge of the bikes, having been involved in all models from 2010-2020.”

Ratcliffe says that a space is now being set-up at the Langen headquarters to carry out any urgent service and repair work.

He continued: “Many will know Paul Atkinson, an integral part of CCM for decades, and will most likely have had some involvement with developing and building your CCM. Paul has agreed to take residence at Langen HQ and will solely be focused on helping Spitfire and GP450 owners. The rest of the Langen team will manage the administration and parts sourcing.”

What’s more, they will also be supporting mobile technician ‘The Spitfire Surgeon’ with service parts, manufacturing, and more. Anyone in need of assistance should contact info@langenmotorcycles.co.uk for further details.

CCM was first established in 1971, with the official administration confirmation coming in early June 2025. Taking to social media, the brand said: “A legendary name in UK bike manufacturing, known for their handcrafted machines and bold innovation, now facing uncertain times.

“Thoughts go out to the workers, engineers, and fans of the brand. Let’s hope this isn’t the end of the road for CCM.”
