Vespa release limited edition to honour the Year of the Rabbit

Vespa have announced the first of a series of special scooter models that will run for the next 12 years in honour of the Chinese Zodiac.

The Vespa 946 10° Anniversario honours the year of the rabbit, which began on January 22.

Limited to 1000 units, underneath the new green paint, rabbit graphics, and hand sewn seat lies the same 946 model that’s been on the market since 2013.

It marks the first in a 12 project which will see the introduction of a new annual edition each year, inspired by the lunar horoscope animal of that year.

This means you get the same low-capacity four-stroke scooter as before, which has also spawned specials including a Christian Dior version – a partnership born out of the fact that both they and Vespa were both founded in 1946.
