The biking world has been shocked to the core this week, after the tragic deaths of British Supersport riders Owen Jenner and Shane Richardson at Oulton Park on Monday.

The whole MCN teams joins the rest of the motorcycling community in extending our condolences to the riders’ families and teams, plus sharing our thoughts and gratitude to all the officials involved in dealing with what was an horrific racing incident, which included 11 riders on the opening lap of the feature race.

With bike racing thrust into the mainstream spotlight on national news and radio, it’s heartening to see, through the grief and sadness, the camaraderie of the racing community, as well the professionalism and passion of all those involved in our sport.

It’s at these dark times when the best of biking truly shines though.
